Born and raised in Lethbridge, Scott has been part of The Gym in the North since 2025 and has been coaching clients both in-person and online since 2020.
With a background rooted in bodybuilding and performance training, Scott combines structured programming with a balanced, active lifestyle approach. His coaching style emphasizes strength, body composition, and sustainable progress while making training enjoyable and challenging.
Scott works with everyone from beginners learning the gym environment to experienced lifters looking to refine their physique or performance.

Joel brings decades of training experience and a lifelong passion for athletic performance, strength, and longevity. He has been training seriously since the age of 14, originally using fitness to become stronger and more competitive in sports.
Over the years, his training evolved into a hybrid approach shaped by experience in Olympic lifting, obstacle course racing, mountain biking, hiking, and bodybuilding preparation. Joel continues to expand his knowledge through ongoing education, including certifications through the NSPA and the Brookbush Institute in personal training and human movement specialization.
Joel specializes in hybrid-style training, combining strength, conditioning, hypertrophy, power, and mobility to help clients move and perform better at every stage of life.
Whether clients are looking to get stronger, move better, or regain confidence in their abilities, Joel brings an experienced, motivating approach focused on sustainable progress both inside and outside the gym.

Born in Medicine Hat, raised in Calgary, and now based in Lethbridge, Cyerra joined The Gym in the North coaching team this year with a passion for helping women feel strong, confident, and comfortable in their own skin.
With 6 years of weight training experience and a background in volleyball, her approach combines strength training, balanced lifestyle habits, and realistic goal setting. She believes fitness should feel empowering and sustainable, not restrictive.
Cyerra specializes in helping women build confidence through healthy routines, strength training, and lifestyle coaching tailored to every stage of life, from young adults to new moms and beyond.

Originally from Red Deer and now based in Lethbridge, Sam brings 3 years of coaching experience helping clients build strength, confidence, and consistency through structured, sustainable training.
Specializing in strength and functional training, Sam takes a client-first approach focused on long-term results, not quick fixes. His coaching is built around creating realistic, maintainable routines that fit each client’s lifestyle and goals.

No we do not offer childcare as our insurance does not cover it.We don’t let kids into the gym. No exceptions … ever.
No we do not offer any discounts as this helps keep our gym less busy so you don’t have to wait for equipment.
Yes, we have multiple change rooms all with showers.
No, as per the terms and conditions, memberships are non transferable.
Yes drop ins are $25 and we just require you bring in with you a pair of clean indoor shoes that you can change into in the lobby. If you choose to get a membership right after your drop in we will credit the $25 to your account.
